Superior Design

Time is important; nobody has enough, nobody wants to waste it. Many expensive commercial sun tanning beds can take a long 30 minutes per session to acquire a tan. Because of the patented Peacock design and state of the art technology, tanning sessions are only 9 to 15 minutes, and use fewer bulbs! Turn on some music, switch on the lights, dance or tap your toes, and two or three songs later, you're done!

Less Space Needed

Space is important. Conventional lie-down, sun beds need lots of floor space; more than a washer & dryer combined. How many salons or homes can dedicate that much space to just one unit? Better yet, who would want to? With the Peacock and its superior Fold Away design, you need less than two square feet of floor space (8 inches by 38 inches) when not in use. For commercial tanning use, you can place up to four systems in about the same space that one lie-down sun bed would require.

Costs Less to Operate

The steel structure is then finished with a powder-coated, oven-baked finish that resists scratches or marring. No problem with paint flaking, since there’s no paint involved; no faded coatings, since no coating is used. We then use a stainless-steel center column for easy cleanup and a sharp look.

It's totally hygienic by design! Many people lie down and sleep when using horizontal tanning systems, and most perspire, which means you a lying in a layer of sweat and sun tanning lotion that must be cleaned after each use. The Peacock is used while standing for only 9 to 15 minutes, so sweat and tanning lotion does not collect, and simply requires a quick wipe down after daily use. With lie-down sun beds, you need to use disinfecting, germicidal chemicals to keep it clean and hygienic, and that's after every session! With the Peacock you step in, you step out, and you're done. It's like taking an invigorating sun shower!

The only regular maintenance the Peacock sun tanning bed requires is replacing the bulbs; although many commercial salons change out the bulbs after 700 hours of use, they are rated for 1000 hours! You can't beat our time-proven design.

Do-It-Yourself Service.

Aside from the bulbs, the ballasts also sometimes need replacing. You’ll be glad to know that this is a very simple job; simply unplug the bad one, and plug-in the new one; you can’t even plug it in the wrong way. The ballasts, along with everything else but the bulbs and the body, carry a two-year warranty; if one goes bad, we send you a replacement. Also, in the rare event that the timer stops working, replacing it is also a do-it-yourself task - it just plugs in as well!
